1) JEE is known for its high security exam. Do you know, once in 1997 the paper was leaked and exam was conducted twice.

2) It takes 3.4 lakh to educate an IIT an per year. Whereas student pay only 90000. The rest is paid by govt upto the year 2015. However, fees got revised now.

3) The first female IITan is from IIT Bombay.

4) IIT kanpur has its own airstrip for Aeronautical engineering. The airport in this college is named as kalyanpur airport.

5) The most beautiful engineering colleges follow the order 1.IIT Roorkee 2. IISC Bangalore 3.IIT Guwahati
